LinkGo is a mobile-first link management app built for mums and mums-to-be. This privacy notice explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit our website at getlinkgo.com and use our services.

What data we collect and why
Waitlist sign-up
When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. We use this to:
- Confirm your place on the waitlist.
- Send you updates about LinkGo’s launch and development.
- Invite you to early access or beta testing when available.
Legal basis: Your consent, given when you submit your email address via the waitlist form. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@getlinkgo.com or using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter (“The Link”), we collect your email address. We use this to send you periodic updates about LinkGo, parenting-related content, and product news. Newsletter delivery is handled by Loops.
Legal basis: Your consent, given when you subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter, or by emailing hello@getlinkgo.com.
Contact and support
If you email us at hello@getlinkgo.com, we collect your email address and the content of your message. We use this to respond to your enquiry.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest — it is necessary for us to process your message in order to reply to you.
Website usage data
When you visit getlinkgo.com, our hosting provider (Netlify) may collect standard server log data including your IP address, browser type, device type, and the date and time of your visit. This data is collected automatically by the hosting infrastructure and is used to maintain the security and performance of the website. We do not operate any analytics, tracking, or advertising tools on this website.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest — to monitor and improve our website and to protect against misuse.

Who we share your data with
We use the following third-party services to operate LinkGo. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf:

Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the service provider’s compliance with adequate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognised under UK data protection law.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for any purpose other than those described in this notice.
How long we keep your data
- Waitlist email addresses: Until you unsubscribe or until 12 months after the app launches, whichever is sooner. At that point, if you have not created an account, your waitlist data will be deleted.
- Newsletter subscriber email addresses: Until you unsubscribe. On unsubscribing, your email address will be removed from the mailing list within 30 days.
- Support emails: For up to 24 months after your last communication with us, then deleted.
- Website usage data: Aggregated and anonymised within 26 months of collection.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your data (the “right to be forgotten”).
- Withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis for processing.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your data rights have been violated. The ICO can be contacted at ico.org.uk.

Children’s data
LinkGo is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have collected data from someone under 18, please contact us immediately at hello@getlinkgo.com and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including using encrypted email, secure hosting providers, and limiting access to personal data to the founder only.
No system is completely secure. If we become aware of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the ICO in accordance with our legal obligations.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top. If we make significant changes that affect how we use your data, we will notify you by email where possible.
Future app-specific terms
When the LinkGo app launches, this notice will be updated to cover additional data processing, including account data, saved links, AI-powered categorisation, usage analytics, subscription and payment data, and any community features. We will notify waitlist subscribers before these changes take effect.
